Privacy policy

Cell Vita Research supplies laboratory consumables, reagents, cold-chain equipment, PPE and benchtop instruments to research organisations in the United States. This policy covers cellvitaresearch.com and the quotes and orders placed through it.

For any privacy question, or to ask us to correct or delete your information, email support@cellvitaresearch.com. We answer these within five business days.

Information you give us: your name, work email, organisation, phone number, shipping address, purchase order number, and anything you write in a quote request or message. We collect this so we can quote, ship and invoice.

Order information: the items and quantities you request, the quotes we issue, and the orders and shipments that follow.

Basic technical information: standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not collect card numbers on this website. Payment card details, where taken, are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

This is not a consumer site and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

To prepare quotes, fulfil orders, arrange shipping, issue invoices, and support those orders.

To keep the records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

To contact you about a quote or order you placed. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to, and any such email carries an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else advertising to you.

Shipping carriers, so your order can be delivered. They receive the delivery name, address and contact details only.

Our fulfilment supplier, where an order ships directly from their stock. They receive only what is needed to ship it, and are not permitted to market to you.

Payment processors and banks, where a payment is taken.

Our accountants and professional advisers, and any authority where the law requires disclosure.

Everyone above is limited to using the information for the purpose it was given to them.

This site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage, principally to remember the contents of your cart between pages. Clearing your browser storage empties the cart.

We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.

Quote and order records are kept for as long as needed to service the account and to meet tax and accounting obligations, typically seven years.

Enquiries that do not become orders are removed within twenty-four months.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@cellvitaresearch.com. We may need to retain records of completed transactions where the law requires it.

You can opt out of any non-transactional email at any time, through the unsubscribe link or by replying and asking.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order and customer records is limited to the people who need it to do their job.

No system is perfect. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes are notified to active account holders by email.
